Each morning, I walk along the Meander River and witness nature slowly waking with the day—the mist rising off the water, native animals foraging in the quiet, and the gentle stir of the town coming to life. It’s in these peaceful, early hours that I feel most connected to this small town in Tasmania, and it’s exactly why I chose Deloraine as the heart of this body of work—capturing its creatures, landscapes, and quiet corners through paint.
