This workshop has been specifically designed and tailored for those eager to learn drawing and painting techniques, while developing essential skills and establish an artistic foundation.

Morning or afternoon tea
Fundamental drawing techniques, including line work, shading, and composition. You will learn HOW to observe and capture the world around you, translating your observations into sketches. You will use pencil, charcoal and oil pastels.
The Elements of Art—line, shape, form, space, texture, value, and colour for you to gain a deeper appreciation for how these elements interact to create artworks. You will use collage, pencil and oil pastels.
Introduction to Watercolours – exploring the characteristics of this medium and its interaction with paper. You will create some take away greeting cards and bookmarks using watercolours, pen and wash.
Julie’s Studio is above the Golf Club building at Quamby Estate (see photo).

The bathroom is at the back of the Golf Club.
